I got into cyber – I put myself through college doing administrative work at a Domain Name Registry.  I was young with zero experience.  I couldn’t even spell DNS 😊 I just jumped in, and great people in the field helped me learn and grow along the way. 

What do you think are important topics in cyber today? – Acute shortages of skilled professionals continue to be a challenge in the field. Our future depends on a transformed workforce therefore I am passionate about championing overlooked talent pools such as neurodiverse individuals, adults in career transition, and curious high school graduates to name a few. 

The skill that set me up for success – I’m a firm believer in the power of community.  Building meaningful relationships within a network of strong professionals has been key for me in all aspects of my life.  Take care of others and they will take care of you!
