I got interested in cyber when a family member’s bank account was hacked. I volunteered with the AARP Fraud Fighters program.  After, I joined this group to help educate seniors on the dangers lurking on the web. I realized I had a keen interest in the industry and wanted to learn more. I was hooked and the rest is history.

Being an advocate for neurodiversity inclusion is important to me because by supporting this cause, I can speak for those whose voices have been minimized and excluded.  

The biggest influencers in my life are my parents. They prioritized education and hard work above everything else. With this foundation, I have experienced success in multiple industries and step towards intellectual challenges. They encouraged learning and actively exposed my siblings and me to new experiences through travel, entrepreneurship, hobbies, and volunteerism.  To this day, I am eager to learn a new skill and pass on what I’ve learned to mentor and help others.

I would tell my younger self two things: mistakes are opportunities to learn and to speak up and ask for what you need. Helpers are always around and will help guide you when you need support. Don’t be afraid to be vulnerable.

A favorite place of mine is Drake’s seat on St. Thomas. It is the perfect place to sit, think, feel the Tradewinds, and take in the beauty of the island.
