Critical Infrastructure in the Digital Age: Mind the Gaps

Wednesday, May 15, 2024
5:45 PM

About This Event:

Be a part of a diverse network of leaders and professionals, passionate about securing our nation, communities, and organizations through a more sustainable cybersecurity ecosystem.

As the Biden administration rewrites Presidential Policy Directive 21 (PPD-21), which governs the private-public collaboration, it is clear industry leaders and Federal policymakers are aligned on the need to fill ‘gaps’ to better secure our critical infrastructure.

It is also clear that in a fast-changing operating environment of emerging technologies and threats, there is less alignment on what constitutes critical infrastructure and the pace of change required to secure our systems.

Featuring:

Mark Montgomery RADM (retired), Executive Director of the Cyberspace Solarium Commission (CSC), Senior Director of the Center on Cyber and Technology Innovation (CCTI), and Senior Fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) will lead a discussion on how private-public collaboration is working and the ‘gaps’ that exist and that may open.

Mary O’Brien Lieutenant General US Air Force (retired), Principal, Mary O’Brien Strategies and Board Advisor, Anno.ai

Nikki Robinson Lead Security Architect and STSM, IBM and ICIT Fellow

Drinks and heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served. On-location arrangements are in place for inclement weather.

This event is organized by The Cyber Guild in partnership with the National Cryptologic Foundation.
