Poupak Afshar is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Easy Dynamics Corporation, a leading technology services provider with a core focus in Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, and Information Sharing. Poupak oversees the overall goals, mission, vision, and direction of Easy Dynamics.

After experiencing and observing federal contracting customs and norms, Poupak decided that the Washington, DC area needed an “East Coast firm, with a West Coast attitude.” From that mindset in 2006, she endeavored and formed Easy Dynamics.

Poupak is regarded as a strong and effective female leader in the technology space. In 2022, Poupak was named one of the Top 50 Women Leaders in Virginia by Women We Admire. In 2021, Poupak was named one of the Top 25 Women Leaders in IT Cybersecurity Services by the Software Report. Also in 2021, Easy Dynamics was named SECAF Government Contractor of the Year ($15-27.5 million revenue category). In 2017, 2018, and 2020, under her leadership, Easy Dynamics won the Government Innovation Award for Public Sector Innovation of the Year.

Poupak Afshar holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland.
