Kim Gajewski currently works as the Principal Consultant for Government Strategy, Policy, and Partnerships for Mandiant, now part of Google Cloud. She previously served as the Director for Cyber Policy and Strategy for the Office of Cyber, Infrastructure, Risk and Resilience Policy at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) where supported federal cyber policy development and implementation. Kim also served as the Director for Election Security at the National Security Council overseeing the government’s efforts to safeguard and secure the 2020 elections. Prior to DHS, Kim worked at the Department of Defense supporting the 2014-2016 international Ebola outbreak response as well as on cooperative biosafety and biosecurity efforts in Ethiopia.
Kim lives in DC with her husband Mike and two rescue Shih Tzus named Mumble and Milton. Outside of work, Kim is a voracious reader, avid foodie, and lover of global travel adventures to watch wildlife.
