I worked for a great manager who left our team to start a new project in cybersecurity. He invited several of us to join him, saying this cyber field was going to be a big deal. He was right!

It helps you avoid problems before they start and feel more confident navigating the digital world.
๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฒ๐ ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ ๐ต๐ฒ๐น๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐บ๐ฒ ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ผ ๐ฎ ๐ฐ๐๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ถ๐…understanding both sides, the good guys and the bad guys! Understanding the threats and the hacks as well as how teams are defending against them. My favorite question to cybersecurity teams is what’s the latest/worst threat you’ve seen? How did (do) you defend against it? How did you recover?

๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฏ๐ถ๐ด๐ด๐ฒ๐๐ ๐ถ๐ป๐ณ๐น๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ฟ in my life ๐ถ๐…my dad, who worked in military intelligence in the US Army. I grew up a military brat, so we moved all over the world, where he was working with three letter agencies. I was always asking about his work and he was only able to give me little unclassified nuggets of information. I was fascinated and intrigued with the idea. Little did I know that cyber security was being bred into me with each conversation.
๐ ๐ ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ ๐ถ๐…anything that keeps you interested in reading! I read about 50 books a year, mostly fiction, but also love any non-fiction about cyber, living a healthier life and how to better myself.
