Rosa Bolger is an IBM Vice-President and Distinguished Engineer with over 29 years of experience in Cyber security and technology. She is responsible for IBM’s Cyber security operations center (SOC), incident response, vulnerability response, penetration testing, recovery services, remediation as well as the cyber technology platform, engineering, and operations for the IBM Chief Information security office (CISO) at IBM. Rosa also leads the vision and strategy for threat detection and response, automation through machine learning, foundation models, and securing artificial intelligence while balancing a 24/7 team worldwide. She excels at building and leading highly effective and motivated teams and a positive work culture where people truly work together towards the same goals, where innovation, fast response and delivery are the core values. Her experience includes managing the performance and availability of the web infrastructures for the Olympic Games and major client accounts during peak load times. Rosa also has a background in Unix/Linux system administration, network architecture, enterprise and solution architecture of web services, end to end applications, content discovery, federated identity.
