Amy De Salvatore

As a Partner at venture capital and advisory firm, NightDragon, Amy brings twenty-three years of corporate IT and cybersecurity business development, strategic alliance and channel experience to the role.  Additionally, as a member of the Board of Directors of vArmour, she helps govern and guide the cloud security company’s strategy and go-to-market efforts.

Her previous experience spans leading global IT and cybersecurity companies including Documentum, EMC, McAfee, Intel Security and Forescout Technologies where she helped lead the company through a public offering and built and monetized an alliance practice resulting in 20% of the company’s revenue.  Throughout her career, she has built and managed partnerships with a diverse set of IT and OT partner portfolios, including the world’s largest technology, system integrator, managed service providers and channel partners. Recognized in the industry for architecting and monetizing profitable partner ecosystems, Amy specializes in the design and execution of go-to-market strategies that lead to material impact. 

In her role at NightDragon, Amy leads ND Talent and DEI, a program with a mission to make cyber education accessible to underserved communities, improve diversity in the industry and help to close the cybersecurity talent gap through building and empowering the cybersecurity workforce.  A passionate advocate for workplace diversity programs and elevating women within the industry, Amy sits on the Board of Directors for non-profit NextGen Cyber Talent, is a Senior Fellow for the U.S. Cybersecurity Forum Initiative, and formerly served as an Ambassador for the Forescout Women’s Network. She has been recognized in the industry by the United Cybersecurity Alliance as a Cybersecurity Woman of the Year (2023), Top Women in Cybersecurity by Cyber Defense Magazine (2023), SC Media’s Top Women in IT Security Power Player (2023) and deemed a Top 25 Women in Cyber by Deloitte & The Female Quotient (2022).

Amy graduated from the University of San Diego summa cum laude, with a degree in Media Communications and a Business Minor.
